RentPath offers industry standard and custom advertising solutions. This section provides the guidelines for running across our Network of brands. Our Network includes rent.com, rentals.com and rentalhouses.com. All RentPath online advertising specifications and guidelines are in compliance with the IAB’s Interactive Marketing Unit Standards.

Technical Guidelines

  • Important Update: Due to the recent and pending browser changes related to Flash; creative needs to be submitted in HTML5 format. Flash delivered in any other format may require additional user interaction in order for the ad to animate.
  • We use DFP and accept most third party tags.

Creative Guidelines

All click-through URLs must open in a new browser window.

Banners should be encased in a one (1) pixel black border and distinct from the content. If borderless, a banner MUST contain clear branding; such as the advertisers names or “advertisement” statement

Banners must not have transparent backgrounds and may never blend into our content.
