Marc Lefar is the Chief Executive Officer of RentPath, the leading digital marketplace connecting millions of consumers with apartments, condos and houses for rent through its network of websites and mobile apps, including ApartmentGuide.com, Rent.com, Lovely and Rentals.com.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of IPC Systems, the leading provider of communications for the financial services and trading communities. Marc is a frequent guest lecturer on the topics of strategy, marketing and global commerce and serves on the Board of Advisors for the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. From 2011-2016, Marc served on President Obama’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee.
Over his 30-year career, Marc has developed a unique blend of global marketing, financial and operational expertise. Prior to joining RentPath, Marc was the Chief Executive Officer of Vonage, a position he held from 2008-2014. Under his leadership, the Company underwent a comprehensive financial, operational and strategic transformation resulting in the successful expansion into new markets while driving dramatic shareholder returns.
Prior to Vonage, he was the Chief Marketing Officer of Cingular Wireless, now AT&T Mobility, responsible for all aspects of marketing strategy and execution. Marc played a lead role in the acquisition and integration of AT&T Wireless into Cingular in 2005 and later worked with Steve Jobs and his team during the development of the exclusive partnership to launch the iPhone.
Marc is active in several organizations battling homelessness, including Open Doors where he serves on the Board. Open Doors lowers barriers and increases access to affordable housing by connecting property owners with carefully-screened tenants who have the support of quality service providers. He is a past Director of the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Georgia and Alabama.
An inventor, Marc holds two U.S. patents and has five additional patents pending. He spent the first nine years of his career at Procter & Gamble.

As Chief Financial Officer of RentPath, Richard (Rick) Martin has oversight of all accounting and finance functions. He reports to CEO Marc Lefar and is based in Atlanta.
Rick most recently served as CFO of Symphony Health Solutions, responsible for accounting, FP&A, risk management, tax, and treasury. Symphony Health Solutions is part of Symphony Technology Group, a private-equity-owned data analytics company that provides applications, analytics and consulting services to the health sciences industry. While there, he partnered with C-suite and sponsors to generate more than $800M in enterprise value.
He also held the CFO role at Delta Career Education Corporation, a private-equity-backed operator of post-secondary career technical college, servicing 17,000 students on 35 campuses in nine states. As CFO, Rick had oversight of all financial operations as well as IT. While there, he led an enterprise-wide operational optimization initiative that resulted in a 33% increase in EBITDA.
Rick previously served as CFO of several other private-equity-backed companies including DecisionOne Corporation, General Fiber Corporation and Strategic Distribution, Inc. Prior roles include Vice President Finance, Treasurer, Principal Accounting Officer for Maxxim Medical, Inc. and Vice President Finance, Treasurer, Secretary (and interim CFO) for Pameco Corporation. He also has experience at UPS where he managed finances for various international assignments, built scalable infrastructure allowing expansion into new markets, led complex divestitures and oversaw financial implications of company spin-offs.
Rick brings a wealth of experience to the role, as well as functional expertise in metrics-based management, working capital management, and strategy & growth. He has a long, distinguished career of value creation in dynamic business environments. Rick earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and his Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford.

Juliet Johansson has a consistent record of driving profitable revenue growth by developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies. She has led Sales, Marketing and Digital Strategy transformations under private equity and public company ownership structures in B2C and B2B businesses. She has hands-on global experience across a variety of industries including retail, medical device, industrial, private equity and management consulting.
Juliet comes to RentPath most immediately from Office Depot where she served as EVP & Chief Strategy Officer. In that role, she led a multi-year transformation strategy and executed a strategic plan that grew profits and overachieved plan in a challenging business environment. She also led the Office Depot/Office Max integration across all key functions.
Prior to this role, she was SVP Global Commercial Business for Biomet 3i, a Blackstone portfolio company. In her role as head of sales, marketing and customer service operations in over 20 countries, she improved selling effectiveness and ensured coordination across these functions as part of her P&L responsibility. Additionally, she was VP Marketing, followed by VP National sales for a Fortune 500 Transportation company.
In addition to her Corporate Line leadership experience, Juliet worked as a consultant for seven years with McKinsey & Co focusing on Strategy, Sales and Marketing across a variety of high tech, retail, consumer and industrial companies. She also was part of The Blackstone Group’s Portfolio Operations team where she spent time working with Blackstone portfolio companies mainly in the medical device and industrial industries in improving sales and marketing effectiveness.

As Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of RentPath, Marlon Starr is responsible for all legal and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining the company, Starr spent over 20 years in private legal practice as a partner at two major law firms, specializing in corporate and securities matters.
Starr graduated from Tulane University and Emory University Law School, where he served on Law Review.

As CTO of RentPath, Child leads the creation, implementation and overall technical strategy for ApartmentGuide.com’s applications and integrated e-commerce features. He provides strategic direction, acting as the technical visionary, to ensure that RentPath remains on the cutting edge and meets the needs of current and future customers.
Prior to working at RentPath, Child was Chief Information Officer for BellSouth Advertising and Publishing Group (BAPCO), where he was responsible for the information technology strategies of four companies within BAPCO.
Child graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Management Association, the Association for Systems Management and the Project Management Institute.

Ryan Davis is an innovative leader with experience in growing digital revenue streams. Previous to joining RentPath, Ryan headed the development of an advertising and content platform at The Weather Channel that focused on localization. The platform now boasts thousands of advertisers and a reach that expands into more than 100 local markets. Previously, while President of Philly.com, Ryan led the company to become the fastest growing news and information site in the world, according to Nielsen.
Ryan, a former McKinsey & Co. high-tech media consultant and journalist, holds a BS in Journalism from Northwestern University, as well as an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.

Krista Nordlund is a data-driven, results-oriented product executive with over 15 years experience delivering dynamic product experiences with multiple Fortune 500 brands. Prior to joining RentPath, Krista held various product and leadership positions within US Airways, Expedia, USA TODAY and most recently drove a product transformation within BookIt.com. Krista has built and led high performing product teams in high-growth, competitive environments and through business transformations.
Krista holds an MBA from University of Washington and BS in Industrial Management Engineering from RPI.

David Bell

David Bell serves as RentPath’s Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President, Corporate Development and Transformation. He is based in Atlanta, and reports to RentPath CEO, Marc Lefar. As Chief Strategy Officer, David is responsible for developing, prioritizing, communicating and supporting the implementation of the company’s strategic initiatives. He oversees RentPath’s strategic planning process and drives the resource allocation of our strategic imperatives.
In his development and transformation role, he oversees merger and acquisition (M&A) engagement activity and significant business development work. He is also responsible for change management related to major corporate initiatives and works closely with the B2B product leadership team to assess new business opportunities and products.
David brings a wealth of experience from a variety of industries, with a focus on media, local advertising, technology and private equity. His most recent role, prior to joining RentPath, was Vice President of Strategy & Value Creation at YP Holdings, LLC, where he led the transformation effort that created YP Holdings from two advertising units of AT&T. Previously, he spent eight years at Bain & Company, Inc., originally as a consultant and ultimately to the level of Principal. While at Bain, he focused on strategy engagement, operational and performance improvement and M&A engagement. He began his career at BKV Advertising in Atlanta.
David earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University. He currently serves as a volunteer for the Princeton Alumni Schools Committee and on the Corporate Leadership Council of the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.

Will Lin came to RentPath with over eighteen years of experience in technology, product development, business analytics and digital marketing. Prior to joining the team, Will led a team of 50 in global performance marketing at HomeAway, Inc, an online marketplace of vacation rentals with more than a million listings across 40 sites, 20 languages, and 190 countries. As Global VP of Digital Marketing, Will’s team was responsible for driving nearly a billion visits a year across HomeAway’s network of sites.
Will holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds an MS in Aerospace Engineering from UT Austin and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Jackson Lynch is a highly accomplished Senior Executive, Entrepreneur, Consultant, and Board Member with 22 years of success in manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, paper, professional services, construction, heavy equipment and technology. Leveraging extensive experience in business strategy and human capital, he has established a strong reputation in operational excellence, human resource evaluation and planning, mergers and acquisitions, and change management.
Jackson has been around RentPath since November 2016 both as a consultant supporting the Human Resources team, and for the last year as the interim CHRO. Prior to founding his own consulting firm, Jackson lead Human Resources practices for such companies as BlueLine Rental, Clearwater Paper Corporation, Nestle and the Frito Lay division of PepsiCo.
Jackson is a proactive, results-driven thought leader and we are fortunate to have him on board to lead, guide and direct our most valuable resource--our people.

Arlene Mayfield

As Senior Vice President of Customer and Industry Relations, Arlene Mayfield is responsible for enhancing our relationships with key customers, representing RentPath in the industry and furthering our association relationships. Formerly SVP, Sales for RentPath, Arlene's commitment to sales excellence led the company through a number of successful acquisitions and operational changes over the last several years, improving both overall company performance and revenue.
Mayfield has a longstanding record of sales leadership and success at RentPath. She began her career here in 1993, managing the Albuquerque and Orlando markets. She was responsible for growing revenue by 250% and 150% in these markets, respectively. As a result of this success, she moved into the role of Regional Director for the Eastern Region, managing nine markets by 1999.
In September 2003, Mayfield was promoted to Vice President of the Homes Division, where she oversaw 32 publications and doubled the division's revenue.
By December 2007, Mayfield was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales over the entire RentPath portfolio. Since her appointment to senior leadership, she has played an instrumental role in changing the entire company. She helped move the business from a print-based model to an online powerhouse and market leader. She's also helped grow the RentPath sales team to more than 400 professionals active in their communities.
